My paintings represent the world we were left with after the war that destroyed every single aspect of life and reduced all that is beautiful to ashes.
During those difficult times, the notion of human age lost its value, this is contrary to what women like, for women care to hide their real age and this shows how much they value life.
Being a woman in this world, I live in a world of dreams with which I color remainders of hope that which our people live with in spite of the pain we feel. My works manifest my insistence and perseverance to exist and to love life through revealing all that is beautiful, but from a particular and contemporary perspective. The use of bright colors is an invitation for hope, optimism and joy – indicating that we still exist.
