Catherine Laing, Outreach Assistant at the Glasgow Open Museum in Britain, gave ​​a presentation on how to employ the Museums’ collections in community activities, both in the vicinity of the Museum and in public spaces. The objective of this attempt is to promote the activities of the Museum, and to bring the attention of the public to the value and importance of the collections.  The project presents several activities, one of which is preparing display cabinets in order to showcase selections from the Museum's collections. The cabinets are going to be firstly installed in the library, and then in other places.
